Q. Are you insured to perform home cleaning services?
A. Yes,TerraMaids is bonded and fully Insured. We maintain adequate insurance to cover all areas of our business.
Q. Must I be at home when you clean my house?
A. Its your choice. Many of our customers prefer to give us a key. Others leave us a key in a safe place each visit. Alarm systems can be either left off or you can give us entry/exit codes. We have found through experience that by far the most efficient and problem free way is if you provide us with keys.
Q. How do you protect my key?
A. Your key is locked in a safe to which only upper management have access. The key is issued to the team leader on the day of your clean. Key are return to the safe at the end of the day .
Q. What if I would like something cleaned that is not part of your cleaning system?
A. We offer a variety of additional services like window cleaning, oven cleaning and we even clean your refrigerator. Our customer’s satisfaction is our main priority and we will do whatever we can to keep them happy.
Q. Do I need to provide my own house cleaning products?
A. We will always arrive at your home in our company cars with our own cleaning products and equipment. All our products are environmentally friendly and are safe for small children and pets.
Q. Are your house cleaning teams trained and supervised?
A. Team members are trained thoroughly in the use of green cleaning products and techniques before they are permitted to enter your home. Training continues as we learn about new products/methods and to reinforce prior training.
Each team includes a team leader to see that cleaning tasks are correctly completed.
Q. How do I pay for your residential cleaning services?
A. Payment is due at the time of service. You may pay by cash, personal check or electronic payments (PayPal).
Q. What are your house cleaning rates?
A. Fees are based on condition and size of the home, how many people are living there, pets, clutter level and etc. We will walk you through our cleaning process and provide you with a price for a service that has been created to meet your specific needs.
Q. Is your house cleaning work guaranteed?
A. All the work performed by TerraMaids is backed by a 100% Satisfaction guarantee. Should you find yourself unsatisfied with the work we have done in your home, simply call our office within 24 hours of your clean, and we will re-clean it at no additional charge!
Q.Do you use sub-contractors?
A. All our cleaning professionals are TerraMaids employees.
Q. Do you have any tips to keep my home clean?
A. Keep entryways and walkways clean. Since 90% of dirt comes through the doors, use entry mats inside and outside the door. Reduce the wear of outdoor shoes inside the house- use slippers or socks instead. Use high quality vacuum equipment (HEPA). Use high efficiency filters in your heating and cooling system. Steam clean carpets at least once a year. Wash bed linens weekly.
