Terms of Service
SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES - To protect health and safety of our employees, they do not lift anything heavier than 45 lb. Should you require us to clean behind heavy furniture or appliances, please move them prior to the cleaning to allow access to the target area.
KEY SECURITY – TerraMaids undertakes extreme measures to provide absolute security for your keys at all times. Customer keys are stored in a key safe and are assigned security codes used for identification. Team Supervisor will retrieve your key on the day of your scheduled cleaning and return it to the safe at the end of the day.
PRIVACY - We respect your privacy. While the nature of our business requires us to obtain personal information from you, we will never knowingly sell, rent, loan, or provide that information to any third party (except the financial institution that processes your payment or agencies to help us collect past due accounts) without your specific consent.
INSURANCE – TerraMaids is bonded and fully Insured.We maintain adequate insurance to cover all areas of our business, including general liability, product liability, and automobile insurance. As an employer we maintain workers compensation and disability insurance for our employees in the event they are injured on the job or become unable to work to due to medical reasons. Together, these policies provide financial protection for our clients, our employees, and the general public.
PAYMENTS - We accept the following forms of payment: electronic payment (PayPal) (Due 24 hours prior to the scheduled clean), check or cash. Payment is due in full at the time of the service. A finance charge of 2% per month (24% annually) will be charged on all past due balances. A $25 fee is applied to all declined checks.
REFUNDS & GUARANTEES - If you're not 100% satisfied with quality of cleaning of any of the serviced areas, please call us within 24 hours of the clean and we will re-visit your home or office at no extra charge. However, due to a subjective nature of cleaning service, we do not offer refunds to customers.
ARRIVAL TIME - Providing us a key is the most efficient way to provide TerraMaids access to your home. Due to factors beyond our control such as traffic conditions, lockouts, customer adding services, or cancellations, we require about a half (1/2) hour window period relative to the scheduled time.
CANCELLATION - Should you wish to cancel or skip any scheduled cleaning appointment, please notify TerraMaids within 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Cancellation within the day of service will be charged a 50% fee.
NON-SOLICITATION OF EMPLOYEES - You as a Client agree not to hire any present or past employee of TerraMaids for any home-related service outside of your agreement with TerraMaids for a period of 6 months from the last cleaning service received from us.
